Great food and cute carhop setup. Got the mac and cheese nuggets and chicken strips- both very delicious! Dinners also come with a little salad that I enjoyed :)
All in all, pretty awesome!
My only suggestion would be that they should get diet rootbeer because my dad is diabetic and couldn't get rootbeer :(
Great old fashion burger joint. CASH ONLY. My kids loved it. Especially loved the flavored soft serve ice cream. Definitely worth the short drive off of I-55!
Going here is a kickback in time. Dine inside or sit in your car and enjoy curb (carhop) service. Root beer is classic & served in frosty mugs. Food is always delicious no matter what you order, & served up by very pleasant employees including owners. Do make sure you have cash...no debit or credit cards. (There is an ATM available).
Every time I come to this town to visit state parks, this is the only place I wanna come to. Great Robert floats, amazing mac and cheese bites. Only downfall is cash only, but the owner was nice enough to allow and trust us to send a check. Sent him a bit extra for his kindness and understanding. It's a cute little place.
Vintage drive in with delicious burgers, fresh rootbeer in frosty mugs, and yummy fries. Very reasonable price and great service! Love the old school and authentic vibe!
